Job Summary:
Silver Express Flight Center is currently accepting applications for flight instructors. We are a busy, well established flight school teaching Part 141 and 61. Our fleet consists of C-152s, Cessna C-172R and Piper Cadets, Archer, Arrow and a Seminole.
Qualifications:
Applicants must possess at least a Commercial SEL, MEL, CFI, and current Class I or Class II Medical Certificate.
We uphold a high standard of performance from our Instructors. We view this position as an important step in your personal career path and expect no less dedication in the performance of your duties that you will give the airlines later on.
Compensation/Benefits:
Instructor salary ranges from $18 to $25 per hr, depending on experience. The pay rate increases with flight experience, ratings and time.

Housing: Up to two months free housing is provided to new Instructors.
Signing bonus: Effective May 1, 2007, a signing bonus of $1,000 is being offered to the first instructor hired and $500 to the second.
We are busy. Our top instructors bill as many as120 hours per month earning as much as $3000. The average time to reach ATP is just over 15 months.
Our former students and Instructors are now flying with nearly every major airline. The average total time of Instructors hired from Silver Express is 1100 hours with American Eagle being the top recruiter. We have recently finalized an agreement with a mid-west regional airline. All Instructors will be guaranteed an interview upon completing 1000 total hours, one year of instruction at Silver Express and the ATP written exam. Contact us for more information.
